Follow a document through translation

Demo only. Names, files and dates are illustrative.

Our translation management system gives you one secure place to send documents and collect the finished translations. You upload the file, choose the source and target languages, tick the box if you need a certified translation, set your deadline and confirm the project.

We assign a human translator who works in your language pair and knows the subject, whether that is a tenancy agreement, a medical report or a technical manual. Translation memory and terminology databases keep names, defined terms and recurring sentences consistent across your documents and over time, which also shortens turnaround on repeat work.

Before delivery, a second linguist proofreads the translation against the source. Machine translation with post-editing (MTPE) is used only where it suits the content, such as high-volume internal material. Certified, legal and medical translations are always produced entirely by human translators.

Features

What the translation management system does for you

  1. Secure upload and download

Send documents and collect finished translations in one place, instead of passing files back and forth by email.

  2. Human translators

Every document is assigned to a professional translator who works in your language pair and subject area.

  3. Translation memory

Previously translated sentences are stored and reused, so repeated wording stays consistent and repeat work moves faster.

  4. Terminology databases

Your approved terms, names and defined expressions are held in a glossary that every translator on your account works from.

  5. Second-linguist quality assurance

A second linguist proofreads each translation against the source and checks numbers, names, dates, formatting and terminology.

  6. MTPE where it suits

For high-volume, lower-risk content we can offer machine translation with human post-editing. Certified, legal and medical work is always fully human.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which file types can I upload?

Word documents and PDFs are the most common. If your file is in another format, contact us before uploading and we will advise.

Can I order a certified translation through the system?

Yes. Tick the certified translation box when you upload. The finished translation is delivered as a certified PDF that you download from the system.

Will you use machine translation on my document?

Only if it suits the content and you agree. Certified, legal and medical translations are always carried out entirely by human translators.

How do translation memory and glossaries help me?

They keep your terminology and recurring wording the same across every document you send us, and they reduce the time needed for repeated content.
